THE FACTS ARE

quality (potency and flavor), freshness and shelf life.
Microbial Contamination Facts
Inhaling mold and other pathogens has been
scientifically proven to be harmful to human health.

Contamination is frequently unnoticeable to the human eye. Even the prettiest flower can house dangerous microbes.

Microbial testing in Oregon is limited to six (6) specific pathogens. No testing is required for, mold, fungus or other potentially harmful bacteria.

Currently, 17 states require all flower have less than 10,000 CFU’s/g (Colony forming units per gram) before sale to the public.

The 10,000 CFU/g was the previous limit for medical cannabis in Oregon. Oregon does not require this testing currently.

Labeling requirements in Oregon do not post the levels of “Total Yeast, Mold or Aerobic Bacteria” on the product for consumers - but it should.
